Electronics and Telecommunication is a branch of Engineering which has remarkably influenced the life of the mankind. It diversified advancement has evolved into various innovations which were impossible in the primitive ages.

The department started way back in 1994 as a department of Electronics & Telecommunication Engineering. The department has well qualified faculty consisting of senior professionals as well as young & dynamic faculty members.

The laboratories are well equipped with Instruments & equipments like spectrum analyzer , digital storage CRO , stroboscope, CROS, communication systems, power systems, Instrumentation & control system & many other lab equipments purchased from various manufacturers like Aplab, Scientech etc. This helps to conduct & complete the practicals as per the revised curriculum of M.S.B.T.E., Mumbai.

For the students to know the Industrial Environment, Industrial visits are arranged every year, for all the students . The students are motivated to participate in technical quiz competitions, paper presentation competitions, project competitions like Dipex, Inter polytechnic competitions etc.

Guest lectures of highly qualified & experienced professionals from the Industries are arranged for Personality Development & getting acquainted with latest technology used in the industries. The students are getting placed 100% in industry like L& T, Wipro etc.

Electrical engineering is a field of engineering that generally deals with the study and application of electricity, electronics, and electromagnetism. This field first became an identifiable occupation in the latter half of the 19th century after commercialization of the electric telegraph, the telephone, and electric power distribution and use. Subsequently, broadcasting and recording media made electronics part of daily life. The invention of the transistor, and later the integrated circuit, brought down the cost of electronics to the point they can be used in almost any household object.

Electrical engineering has now subdivided into a wide range of subfields including electronics, digital computers, power engineering, telecommunications, control systems, radio-frequency engineering, signal processing, instrumentation, and microelectronics. The subject of electronic engineering is often treated as its own subfield but it intersects with all the other subfields, including the power electronics of power engineering.

Electrical engineers typically hold a degree in electrical engineering or electronic engineering. Practicing engineers may have professional certification and be members of a professional body. Such bodies include the Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers (IEEE) and the Institution of Engineering and Technology (professional society) (IET).

Electrical engineers work in a very wide range of industries and the skills required are likewise variable. These range from basic circuit theory to the management skills required of a project manager. The tools and equipment that an individual engineer may need are similarly variable, ranging from a simple voltmeter to a top end analyzer to sophisticated design and manufacturing software.

Civil engineering is a professional engineering discipline that deals with the design, construction, and maintenance of the physical and naturally built environment, including works like roads, bridges, canals, dams, and buildings. Civil engineering is the second-oldest engineering discipline after military engineering, and it is defined to distinguish non-military engineering from military engineering.

It is traditionally broken into several sub-disciplines including architectural engineering, environmental engineering, geotechnical engineering, control engineering, structural engineering, earthquake engineering, transportation engineering, forensic engineering, municipal or urban engineering, water resources engineering, materials engineering, wastewater engineering, offshore engineering, facade engineering, quantity surveying, coastal engineering, construction surveying, and construction engineering. Civil engineering takes place in the public sector from municipal through to national governments, and in the private sector from individual homeowners through to international companies.

Mechanical Engineering Department was established since the inception of the institute. The department has highly dedicated , qualified & competent faculty. The intake capacity of students is 120.

Numbers of pass out students are serving in various Manufacturing units, Automobile Industries, power generation stations & even in Government departments. Every student, who secures first class in final year M.S.B.T.E., Mumbai examination, will get an opportunity to take admission for degree course.

Students from the department won number of prizes in various project competitions, Quiz competitions, paper presentations & even in various sport activities.

Well equipped laboratories, departmental library, workshop with good infrastructure are the strength of the department. Knowledge of modern trends in industries like CNC machines, various software’s etc. is also imparted for development of students. We also participate in various activities of M.S.B.T.E., Mumbai.

In-Plant training, Placement, Guest Lectures, Visits, Personality Development, Seminars, Career Guidance programs are arranged for getting all round engineers needed for fulfilling market need of trained manpower with soft skills. We are committed for your ward’s development.
